1. Who We Are

Piyesa Hub is an Australian company based in Mitchell, ACT. We design, sell, and ship aftermarket carbon parts for Honda vehicles. This policy explains what we do with the information you share with us when you use piyesahub.com.au or enter our design competitions.

2. What We Collect

When you browse:

When you enter a design competition:

  • ›Name
  • ›Email address
  • ›Country
  • ›The design files you upload (PDF, JPG, PNG)
  • ›Whether you confirmed you're 18+
  • ›Whether you agreed to our Terms & Conditions
  • ›Whether you granted us permission to share your design in marketing

When you vote on a design:

  • ›Email address
  • ›IP address (stored as a hashed value for fraud detection)
  • ›User agent

When you buy from our shop:

  • ›Name
  • ›Email
  • ›Shipping address
  • ›Phone number (if you provide one)
  • ›Order history
  • ›Payment information (handled by our payment processor — we don't store card numbers)

When you sign up for marketing emails:

  • ›Email address
  • ›Consent records (when you opted in, what you opted into)

3. How We Use It

We use your information to:

  • ›Run the design competition (verify entries, count votes, ship prizes, contact winners)
  • ›Process and ship your orders
  • ›Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets)
  • ›Send marketing emails if you've opted in (product launches, comp updates)
  • ›Improve our website and detect fraud
  • ›Comply with Australian and international law

We don't sell your information to third parties.

4. Who We Share It With

We share specific information with specific service providers, only to the extent they need it to do their job:

  • ›Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Cookie + server-side conversion data via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure ad performance. Personal data is hashed before transmission.
  • ›SMTP2GO: Transactional email delivery (order confirmations, password resets).
  • ›Brevo: Marketing email delivery (newsletters, comp updates).
  • ›Our payment processor (managed via Odoo): Card processing for shop orders.
  • ›Shipping carriers: Your shipping address, name, and contact to deliver your order.
  • ›Australian government / law enforcement: If legally compelled.

5. Where It’s Stored

Our site is hosted on AWS infrastructure (primarily Sydney region). Service providers listed above may store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We require all service providers to maintain industry-standard security practices.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • ›Essential: keeping you logged in, remembering your cart
  • ›Analytics: understanding how the site is used
  • ›Marketing: measuring ad performance (Meta Pixel)

7. Your Rights

  • ›Ask us to delete your information (with limits — we may need to keep some records for tax / legal compliance)
  • ›Withdraw marketing consent at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
  • ›Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you think we've mishandled your data

If you're in the EU/UK, you have similar rights under GDPR. If you're in California, similar rights under CCPA.

8. How Long We Keep It

  • ›Competition entries: for the duration of the comp + 2 years after for legal records
  • ›Order records: 7 years (Australian tax law)
  • ›Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe + ~30 days
  • ›Vote records: 12 months after the comp ends
  • ›Anonymous analytics: indefinite

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) site-wide. Passwords are hashed. IP addresses on vote records are hashed. We don't store payment card details on our servers — those go straight to our payment processor.

No system is 100% secure. If we ever have a data breach affecting your information, we'll notify you in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

10. Children

Our competitions and store are not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes To This Policy

If we update this policy materially, we'll post a notice at the top and email anyone with an active marketing subscription. The "Effective" date at the top of this page tells you when we last updated it.
