Refunds & Returns Policy

We're Aussie Honda carbon nerds, and we stand behind every part that leaves the shop. If something's not right, we'll sort it out fast. This policy spells out exactly how returns and refunds work so there are no surprises either way.

It applies to all orders placed through piyesahub.com.au with Piyesa Hub Pty Ltd (ABN 64 664 270 982).

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits or removes those statutory rights. The 30-day change-of-mind window below is in addition to your ACL guarantees, not a replacement for them.

30-day change-of-mind returns

Changed your mind? No worries, and no questions asked. You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a change-of-mind return.

To qualify for a change-of-mind refund, the item must be:

  • Unused and not installed, test-fitted, drilled, trimmed, bonded, painted or otherwise modified;
  • In its original, resalable condition with all original packaging, protective film and any included hardware;
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number or receipt).

For change-of-mind returns:

  • No restocking fee. You get the full item price back.
  • You cover return shipping. We recommend a tracked, insured service — carbon parts are fragile and you're responsible for the item until it reaches us safely.
  • Original shipping charges paid on your order are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, has a manufacturing fault, or isn't what you ordered, that's on us. Contact us within a reasonable time of delivery and we'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund — your choice where the ACL allows.

For faulty, damaged or incorrect items:

  • We cover the cost of return shipping.
  • We refund the full item price plus any original shipping you paid.
  • Please send clear photos of the issue (and the packaging, if it arrived damaged in transit) when you get in touch — it helps us resolve things faster and improve our packing.

Don't install or modify a part you believe is faulty — fitting it can make it harder for us to assess the fault and arrange a remedy.

How to start a return

Email us at support@piyesahub.com.au with:

  • Your order number;
  • The item(s) you want to return;
  • Whether it's a change-of-mind return or a fault/damage/wrong-item claim (with photos for the latter).

We'll reply with return instructions and the return address. Please don't ship anything back before you hear from us — returns sent without authorisation can be delayed or go missing.

Refund timing & method

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process approved refunds within 5 business days. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it can take a few extra business days for the funds to land in your account.

We'll email you to confirm when your refund or replacement is on the way.

International orders

We ship worldwide and the same policy applies. A few things to know for international returns:

  • You're responsible for return shipping costs on change-of-mind returns (we cover them for faulty/damaged/incorrect items).
  • Any import duties, taxes or customs fees you paid are set by your country's authorities and are not refundable by us.
  • Mark return parcels clearly as "RETURNED GOODS" to help avoid customs charges on the way back to us.

Competition prizes & promotional items

Prizes, free fender sets and other promotional or gifted items awarded through the EK 290mm Fender Design Competition or any other Piyesa Hub promotion are not eligible for a cash refund. Faulty prize items are still covered — we'll repair or replace them under the ACL guarantees above.
